SCQF Level 7 & 8DESCRIPTION: This full-time, national course is broad based allowing the learner to produce a portfolio suitable for a degree level course and assist in making applications to degree courses.
CONTENT: Year 1 - Drawing | Painting | 2D & 3D Design | Print Making | Life Drawing |Portfolio Preparation | Mixed Media | Colour | Creative Project | Degree Level Entry Guidance | Community Arts | Sculpture | Graded Unit. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Suitable Art related SQA national units or 1 or 2 SCE Higher passes in Art & English or Communication 4 and a portfolio of art and design work (all learners must show evidence of ability in art and design). Entry by interview/portfolio. Year 2: Applicants must have completed the HNC Art & Design Award Level 7, to be eligible for entry to Level 8 year.
