Pre-Employment Training - PlumbingSCQF Level 4DESCRIPTION: This is a full-time 36 week course that will allow learners to explore the skills necessary to gain employment as an apprentice plumber. Learners will be registered for C&G units in plumbing but will not be registered on a formal NVQ or SVQ programme. CONTENT: Maintain Safe Working Environment when Managing Non-Complex Plumbing Work Activities | Maintain Effective Plumbing Working Relationships | Contribute to the Improvement of Plumbing Business Products and Services | Plan Complex Domestic Plumbing Work Activities | Install Complex Domestic Plumbing Systems and Components | Commission and Decommission Complex Domestic Plumbing Systems | Service and Maintain Complex Domestic Plumbing System and components | Oil Heating Systems (optional unit) | Gas Systems (optional unit). RANGE INCLUDES: Design Domestic Plumbing Systems | Specify Programmes for Working in Domestic Plumbing Systems | Plan Plumbing Sheet Weathering Activities | Install Sheet Weathering Components | Plan Domestic Plumbing Fire Control Systems Work Activities | Install Domestic Plumbing Fire Central Heating Systems and Components | Commission and Decommission Domestic Plumbing Fire Control Systems | Service and Maintain Domestic Plumbing Fire Central Systems and Components | Cold Water Systems | Domestic Hot Water Systems | Central Heating Systems | Above Ground Discharge Pipework Systems | Electrical and Earthing Systems | Sheet Weathering Systems in Load | Basic Weathering Systems | Domestic Gas Systems.
