NQ Accounting

Description: This exciting one year full time course, which may be studied part time by negotiation, is designed for learners who wish to pursue a career in accounting.

Content: Financial Accounting | Management Accounting | Cost Accounting | Communicating for Accounting | Customer Service | The Scottish Legal Framework | Employment Law | Economics | The Economy | Information Technology.

Entry Requirements: Ideally applicants should have achieved 3 Standard Grades.  Applications are welcome from mature learners without formal qualifications.

Qualifications and Progression: A group of SQA NQ Units.  Successful learners may gain entry to the HND Accounting course.  Employment prospects are to be found in a variety of occupations in the business sector.
