Gap Training 

Course Content

Each trade VETASSESS assessment discipline will have a separate Pre Assessment & GAP Training course specific to that trade i.e. a course for Brickwork, Plumbing, Joinery/Carpentry, Electrical etc.

Each trade course will focus on the relevant skill outcomes required for the VETASSESS Assessment.The objective of the course:

·         To familiarise the candidate with equivalent trade terminology used in the UK & Australia.

·         To highlight skill requirements in specific trade disciplines.

·         To highlight peculiarities between Australian and UK assessment methods.

·         To prepare the candidate with knowledge of areas for research.

·         To provide the candidate with confidence to sit the VETASSESS Assessment.

Successful completion of the Pre Assessment & GAP Training course will provide the candidate with a Course Certificate which will be recognised by the Australian Consortium members.
