Community Venues

North Glasgow College provides a wide range of community-based courses across two Community Planning Partnership areas – Glasgow North East and Maryhill Kelvin and Canal.
This enables local residents to access education without leaving their own communities.

Community-based learning is just the job for getting your life back on track - whether you have had problems at school or have been away from education for many years, we have courses to suit all ages and tastes – it is never too late to learn!

A relaxed and informal atmosphere, together with friendly staff, you will be amazed at what you can learn and achieve in a short time on our community-based courses – meet new friends, work at your own pace, build up your self-confidence, access guidance and support and gain qualifications

North Glasgow College has strong partnership links with many organisations, through which it has developed learning centres based in Barmulloch and Molendinar Community Centre.

The centres are full or part-funded by the Community Planning Partnership and each centre has successfully attained Learn Direct Scotland status. All three are open throughout the year, offering FREE courses at various levels to local residents.
