The North Glasgow College Single Equality Scheme

Recent legislation in Scotland has ensured that all colleges now have a statutory duty to prepare and publish a Single Equality Scheme.  To demonstrate our commitment to support equality and diversity North Glasgow College was the first college in Scotland to publish a Scheme (in December 2009).  In summary, our Single Equality Scheme explains how the college will

•  promote equality of opportunity for current and prospective 
   learners and staff
•  remove barriers to access, achievements and progression
•  value diversity
•  create an environment free from discrimination of any kind
